
The Gyproc ShaftWall system provides a fire-resistant structure to protect elements in confined spaces wherever access is limited to one side only. It provides a protective structure which can be incorporated at an early stage of the construction without the need for scaffolding.
The Gyproc ShaftWall system comprises of GypFrame CH-Stud and GypFrame E-Stud, with channel section to perimeter and abutments. Gyproc's ShaftLiner is located between the studs, and is secured using GypFrame Deflection Head J-Runner and GypFrame J-Runner. Provision is made for fire-stoppping at the head and also over horizontal joints in the ShaftLiner. Gyproc FireLine forms the lining.
