The rapid acceptance of Buildables’ drywall & ceiling systems has resulted in the demand for more customised system solutions that cater to every project’s requirement and size.
To assist our partners and customers in their understanding and adaptation to this innovative new technology, we provide consultancy services such as:
- System Selection and Customisation
- Training of Contractors, Fire-Rating Consultation
- After Sales Services to homeowners.
Over the years, our team has accumulated a number of proven systems and solutions, which can be configured and deployed by our partners and clients.
Impact Resistant System
Our fully customizable impact resistant systems consist of lightweight, flexible, cost-effective components with excellent acoustic value, highly suitable for residential interior walls and ceilings. They are also environmentally friendly (manufactured from sustainable resources and recycled/recyclable materials) while promoting enhanced indoor air quality.
Using galvanised steel stud & track systems, it is designed to satisfy regulatory requirements for severe duty application (BS 5234 part 2 1992).
- Acoustic Performance, compliance to ASTM E 90
- Fire Performance, compliance to BS 476 Part 22
- 1 & 2 hour fire rating
Wet Area System
Repairs to wet areas (like bathrooms) are a costly, lengthy and disruptive nightmare for both homeowner and builder alike. For this reason it is important to ensure skillful tradespeople are on hand to do the job, as well as durable & suitable building products are used.
When it comes to building product performance, Buildables leads the industry by offering superior quality wall and ceiling systems with superior durability – resistant to moisture, rotting, cracking, fire and termites when installed and maintained correctly.
We have two types of wet area systems:
(a) James Hardie’s high-density fibre cement boards
(b) Gyproc’s moisture-resistant system
both of which have been tested to the highest standards.
We supply customizable as well as standard 1 and 2 hour fire-rated systems. When used in a certified sound rate assembly, these systems will also contribute to required sound transmission classification (STC) values. The Singapore Environment Council has endorsed all our fire-rated systems with a Green Label. Test reports, Certificate of Conformity, and warranty will also be provided.

Our Acoustic Systems provide major advantages in acoustic control. Their unique designs, combining a GypFrame stud & track framing system with appropriate Gyptone acoustic lining board systems, forms an effective buffer against unwanted noise with Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) performance ranging from 0.55 – 0.8.
Our acoustic systems are simple and fast to install, and leaves more usable floor space in smaller footprints and the installation method is virtually the same as standard drywall construction, resulting in lower installation costs and a virtual fail-safe acoustic wall system.
